At the start of the European Championship, the Austrian U17 women’s national team had to accept a 1: 4 defeat against group favorite Netherlands. In the first group game in the Faröic Klaksvik, the team of team boss Patrick Haidbauer fell behind early and was 0: 3 behind after 23 minutes.
