Google is developing IA for software before the annual conference, says website

Alphabet’s Google has been demonstrating to external employees and developers a number of different products, including an artificial intelligence agent for software development, before its annual developer conference, the site said the site The Information This Monday (12).

The agent aims to help engineers to navigate all steps in the software process, from response to tasks to code documentation, says the report, citing three people who become product demonstrations, or were informed about it by Google employees.

The technology giant can also demonstrate the integration of its Gemini chatbot, in voice mode, with its glasses and Android XR headsets, according to the report.

Google declined to comment when contacted by Reuters.

Investors have been pressing Google to present return on the billions invested in AI as the competition intensifies in the sector. The company’s search technology businesses and advertisements also face the threat of antitrust regulators.

Google’s I/O conference will be held next week in Mountain View, California, with the main lecture scheduled for May 20.
