More than 110,000 acreans submitted a statement of income tax on time, says IRS

After the deadline for filing the Individual Income Tax (IRPF) 2025, the IRS confirmed that 110,172 taxpayers in Acre sent their statements within the stipulated period. The state is part of the 2nd Fiscal Region, which also includes Amazonas, Amapá, Pará, Rondônia and Roraima. Together, the six states totaled more than 2 million statements – exactly 2,064,937 documents received.

For those who have lost the deadline, however, the situation can weigh in their pockets. The revenue warns that the non -delivery or delay in the statement generates a fine, even if the taxpayer has not paid. In such cases, the minimum penalty is R $ 165.74.

When there is a tax due, the fine increases: it is charged 1% per month of delay on the amount of the tax and can reach up to 20% of the total. This means that the higher the tax value, the greater the impact of the fine for those who do not regularize the situation quickly.

The recommendation of the revenue is that taxpayers who have not sent the document do this as soon as possible to reduce the charges. All guidelines, including step by step for filling and shipping, are available on the “My Income Tax” platform, accessible through the IRS’s official website.
