The leaders of both superpowers held a phone callthat the US president described as “very positive”, in which they began to have a meeting to work in a commercial pact after tensions between the two countries for tariffs. “The meeting should do very well,” Trump added.
That telephone exchange occurred after last week Trump accused China, without giving details, of violating the bilateral agreement of tariff pauses achieved in May after a meeting in Geneva that had served to relieve tensions between both nations. Rare earth
After the call, Trump claimed to have obtained the commitment to restore commercial flow in the strategic area of rare earths.
