The break between the richest man in the world and the president of the United States occurs less than a week after they exchanged cuddles during a farewell to the Oval Hall, celebrating Musk’s time at the head of the government efficiency department.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump wrote that Musk was “running out” at the end of his term at the head of the president’s government efficiency department (Doge). “I asked him to leave,” said Trump.

The outburst came after Musk criticized US president in the midst of a conflict that originated in the billionaire opposition to Trump’s taxpayer.
Musk has criticized the bill, saying it will increase US debt in trillions of dollars. He is encouraging Republican senators to “kill the project”, which is one of the priorities of Trump’s domestic agenda.

Earlier this Thursday, Trump said Musk was “upset” because the budget package cuts off electric vehicle credits.
