FC Porto began their participation in the Club World Cup with a draw without goals against Palmeiras, in a match played at the Metlife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
The highlight of the meeting was the goalkeeper Claudio Ramos, who had a memorable exhibition, especially at the end of the first part: in just two seconds denied the goal of the Brazilian team with two amazing defenses. The move ended with a third goal attempt, with Francisco Moura to cut the ball over the line, preventing the goal of Abel Ferreira’s team.
With this draw, all groups in the group A add a point, as the inaugural meeting between Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami and Egypt’s Al Ahly also ended 0-0. After the first round, no goals have not yet been registered in this group.
