London – Great Britain first appointed a woman to the top of the MI6 foreign intelligence agency on Sunday. Blaise Metreweli, currently responsible for technology at the British secret service, is to take over the management in autumn, as the government in London announced. She follows Richard Moore, who has been holding the position since 2019.
