It should affiliate in the coming days the mayor of Guaíba (RS), Marcelo Maranata, who will be the name of the party to the government of in 2026.
The meeting that defined the launch of Maranata to office was held on Wednesday (9) in Brasilia, at the party’s headquarters. The meeting was attended by PSDB President Marconi Perillo, the president of the Teotônio Vilela Institute, federal deputy, Federal Deputy Daniel Trzeciak, Porto Alegre councilor, Moses Barboza, the mayor of Camaquã, Abner Dillmann, besides Maranata himself.
The mayor must run for the position that is held today by, governor who. Other names cited are that of Federal Deputy Zucco (PL-RS), Conab President Edegar Pretto (PT), and deputy governor Gabriel Souza (MDB).
