National Selection ends group phase in last place.
Portugal was on Friday eliminated from the Women’s Football European after losing 2-1 with Belgium, on the third and last round of Group B.
Tessa Wullaert gave the Belgian national team advantage on three minutes, with the National Team – which needed to win to dream of the quarterfinals – restored equality only to the 87th minute.
Belgium’s goal was scored in the second half ‘discounts’ at 90+6 minutes by Janice Cayman.
The “navigators” end the group phase in fourth place with a point. For the next phase they advance Spain and Italy.
