The official opening of the Expoacre 2025 rodeo, held on Monday (28), was marked by one of the most anticipated moments of the event: the coronation of the godmother of the pedestrians. Elected by popular vote, Sandy Andrade received the track directly at the Wildy Viana Exhibition Park arena, under the public applause.
The godmother’s choice was attended by the public, both online and in person, through two electronic totems installed at the fair: one next to the Contilnet booth and another on the corner with Espaço Indústria. The vote was part of one of the actions that most mobilized visitors during the last days of Expoacre.

Thrilled, Sandy celebrated the victory with gratitude and enthusiasm. “Wow, I was chosen by the public, what fills me even more pride. The emotion is great, I did not contain myself in the arena when they released my name. I struggled so much, I dedicated myself to the presentation, I learned every detail to deliver the best brightness possible. To be recognized so it makes me very happy. And I want to honor this track and this crown in my head,” he said.
The ceremony also recalled the coronation of Camila Assunção as Queen of Rodeo and Miriane Rodrigues as Princess, both elected last Thursday (24).
