Flamengo records surplus of R $ 143.1 million in the 1st semester

Carioca Club releases the best performance financial balance of the last 5 years and an increase of R $ 56 million in the consolidated free cashier

Flamengo’s free consolidated cashier increased R $ 56 million in the period, reaching R $ 148 million at the end of the 2nd quarter. This is the first time since 2021 that the club can have a positive box in the 1st semester, a period traditionally marked by resource consumption in the Brazilian football industry.

The recurring revenue reached R $ 712 million, establishing a new record for the 1st semester in the club’s history. The value represents a 55% growth compared to the same period of 2024 and exceeds the previous record by 52%, registered in 2023.

Participation in the World Cup of Clubs of (International Football Federation Association) was a factor considered determining for financial results. Flamengo reached the round of 16 of the competition after winning two wins and a draw in the group stage. According to the Transparency Report, participation in the tournament generated revenue of R $ 87.3 million, including awards and transmission rights.

EOL (net operational indebtedness) decreased R $ 199.2 million, totaling R $ 128.2 million on June 30, 2025. The club also registered a recurring EBITDA margin of 30.6%, resulting from the combination of revenue increase and cost control.

In the transfer sector, gross revenue with athletes sales totaled R $ 54.5 million, 29% lower than the same period of the previous year. The investment in hiring totaled R $ 167.9 million, representing 21% reduction compared to 2024.

The financial balance includes all operations carried out by the club during the first 6 months of the year, with closing date on June 30, 2025.

According to the report, even without participation in the Club World Cup, Flamengo would have recorded positive results due to the operational efficiency implemented by the current management. Revenue with transmission rights grew 42%, reaching R $ 243.6 million, while the program of partners registered an increase of 18%, reaching R $ 76.2 million in the first half.

The report also shows a 15% reduction in administrative expenses, the result of an internal restructuring that optimized processes and reduced fixed costs by approximately R $ 18.5 million in the analyzed period.
