The federal government will allocate about R $ 1.1 billion in investments to Acre, with actions distributed in the areas of infrastructure, energy, education, agrarian development and the environment. The announcements will be made this Friday (8) at an event held at Cooperacre, Rio Branco, with the presence of President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva and ministers such as Renan Filho (Transportation) and Camilo Santana (Education).

Among the main contributions is the recovery of BR-364, which cuts the state and is fundamental for the flow of production. R $ 870.9 million will be invested in maintenance works in four stretches of the highway, directly benefiting about 60% of the Acre population. The forecast is to generate more than 12.5 thousand direct and indirect jobs in 12 municipalities.
In the energy area, the Luz for All program will have a new stage in the state. It will be $ 252 million in investments to guarantee electricity to 6,000 families living in remote regions. At this stage alone, R $ 103 million will be allocated to 2,500 families and another R $ 149 million will benefit 3,500 families. Since 2003, the program has made more than 60,000 calls in Acre, serving approximately 280,000 people.
Education will also be contemplated with resources from the new PAC. Acre will receive R $ 304.6 million in investments for day care centers, schools, school transportation and higher education. There will be R $ 181 million invested in the construction of eight day care centers, 11 full -time schools and buying 33 school buses. In addition, IFAC Campus in Feijó is expected to create and the construction of the Rio Branco University Hospital, with R $ 90 million.
Agrarian development will be reinforced with the creation of three new settlements, delivery of property titles, land use contracts and housing financing. In all, 977 families will be contemplated with concessions of use, in addition to the delivery of 145 titles and 42 houses.
Through the Amazon Fund, the state will benefit from environmental and social projects. The highlight is Restaurante Amazonia, which will invest $ 13.6 million in Resex Chico Mendes. A contract of R $ 24 million will also be signed with the NGO SOS Amazonia, to promote family farming and school lunch. The Sanear Amazônia project, in partnership with the Chico Mendes Memorial, will allocate R $ 9 million to the supply of drinking water to communities in the state. In all, the fund has already allocated R $ 260.8 million to Acre, being R $ 155 million only from 2023.
Federal actions in the state are also reflected in the increase in environmental inspection. From January to July 2025, Ibama’s number of infraction notices grew 194% compared to the previous government’s average, and fines rose 182%. Acre also registered a 98% reduction in the burned area compared to the same period of 2024, according to data from LASA/UFRJ.
