Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Si Jin-Pching had a telephone interview on Friday, which also concerned the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Reuters informed about it, writes TASR.
During the interview, the Chinese leader assured that his country would continue to promote the idea of negotiations about Ukraine. He also stressed that there are no simple solutions for such complex problems.
The Chinese media reported that he told Putin that China would like to see an improvement in relationships between Moscow and Washington, as well as to promote the political settlement of the “Ukrainian crisis”.
China continues to work with Russia
This call was made the day after Putin’s advisor Yuri Ušakov announced on Thursday without further details that the United States and Russia, on the proposal of the American party, agreed in principle to meet the presidents of both countries in the coming days.
