Former President Jair Bolsonaro (PL) stated that he is following the trial in the first class of the Supreme Court (STF) on Tuesday, 2. In house arrest, Bolsonaro is at home in Brasilia, accompanied by sons Carlos and Jair Renan, councilors by the Rio de Janeiro PL and Balneário Camboriú (SC), respectively.
Bolsonaro appeared in front of the residence late in the morning, when the Attorney General, Paulo Gonet, was already finalizing the prosecution at the first session of the trial of the criminal action on the coup plot.
“I’m following,” the former president told Estadão, refusing to make other comments. Jair Renan left on the sidewalk, in front of the house, but did not talk to the report.

Upon arrival at the Supreme this morning, lawyer Celso Vilardi, one of those responsible for the defense of Bolsonaro, said that the former chief executive would not be present at the session. According to Vilardi, Bolsonaro expressed interest in going to the Supreme, but health problems make it impossible for him.
Bolsonaro’s house, located in a condominium in Brasilia, was left without much movement for most of the morning on this first day of judgment. Since the last 30th, by determination of Minister Alexandre de Moraes, the Federal District Penal Police watch over the external area of the residence. The measure, recommended by the Federal Police, also states that all cars that leave the scene are searched.
