According to PJ, the suspect was arrested on Saturday, out of flagrant offense, in collaboration with the Seia GNR.

Already on Saturday the GNR had announced that it had retained the suspect at the Seia GNR territorial post, but the detention would be the competence of the PJ because it could be a willful crime of forest fire.

“The fires will have been pursued with a direct flame, in the context of an alleged strife between the suspect and one neighbor, one near a housing house and the other in spontaneous vegetable formations, in a place in favor of their spread,” reads.

The alert was given by the neighbor through emergency number 112 and the Seia GNR moved to the patrol site with military personnel from the post that conducted the initial survey of the event, identifying witnesses that pointed to the man as the presumed author, explains the PJ.
