In everyday rush, there is often a lack of time for fancy cooking. That is why it is worth having proven recipes that do not require many ingredients or long standing by the kitchen. The most popular, fast dinners are pancakes, fried sausage with onion or pesto pasta. In the summer we can put on salads of fresh vegetables with the addition of chicken, tuna or cheese.

One of the dishes that you can quickly make for dinner is pasta casserole with ham and cheese. We usually have such ingredients in cabinets and in the fridge, because it is an iron set of sandwiches. This time you can use it to prepare a casserole, which will saturate the whole family for a long time. You can experiment with a dish by adding various spices or additives. Thanks to this, you will never get bored.

The recipe for casserole with pasta, ham and cheese does not require much time. Before you start preparing it, turn on the oven so that it starts to heat up. You will prepare the rest in a few minutes.

Ingredients:

  • 200 g of knee or penne pasta,
  • 150 g of ham,
  • 150 g of yellow cheese,
  • 200 ml of cream 30%,
  • 500 ml of water,
  • a heaped spoon of wheat flour,
  • a teaspoon of dried basil,
  • 1/2 teaspoon of sweet pepper,
  • 1/2 teaspoon of sugar,
  • Salt and pepper to taste.

Preparation method:

Pour raw pasta into an ovenproof dish. Cut the ham into cubes and add to the pasta. Set aside.

Mix cream with water, flour, sugar, spices and herbs. Then heat the whole in a saucepan until boiling.

Pour the hot sauce into a dish with pasta and ham, mix thoroughly.

Grate the cheese on a grater and sprinkle with the casserole.

Cover the dish and bake in an oven preheated to 180 ° C (with hot air) for about 30-35 minutes. The pasta should be soft and the cheese is slightly flushed.

Serve hot. If something is left of the dish, you can leave the leftovers for the next day or for dinner for reheat.
