A new functionality is now available on the Social Security online portal that promises to make life easier for citizens and companies. From now on, it is already possible to make the request for a provisioning plan to pay debts over the internet, without the need for face -to -face displacement or paper forms.

According to information from the Social Security itself, the request can be submitted directly to the portal and the answer is also communicated electronically.
This change means that those who face financial difficulties have a simpler mechanism to negotiate payments in installments.
So far, this type of request forced the travel counter or the physical delivery of documents. Scanning eliminates this step, making the process faster and more accessible.
A solution for indebted citizens and companies
Provision plans allow social security debts to be settled in phases, upon prior agreement. According to the institution, this solution protects both taxpayers and the system itself, by reducing defaults and ensuring greater predictability in payments.
The new service is presented as another tool to relieve pressure on families and companies in situations of economic difficulty.
Part of a broader strategy
In recent months, the Social Security digital platform has been part of new features to facilitate the entire user’s experience.
It is already possible, for example, to request the bonus of family allowance for children and young people with disabilities, request the allowance for third person assistance or to register the request for special education allowance.
With the inclusion of the present plan, the institution reinforces the bet on services that can be treated fully online, avoiding unnecessary travel and queues.
Less bureaucracy, faster
According to Social Security, this change translates not only into convenience, but also more speed in the treatment of requests.
The institution ensures that it is working to further broaden the list of digital services, consolidating a more modern, practical and affordable public administration.
