How to make fried green tomatoes inspired by a film and a book?
Fried green tomatoes are one of the simplest snacks to make. We need: green tomatoes – if we don’t have our own, we can buy at the end of September at the market, a few tablespoons of corn flour (amount depending on the number of tomatoes), salt, pepper, olive oil or fat melted from bacon for frying (or half and half). Once we have all the ingredients, cut the tomatoes into centimeter slices, season with salt and pepper, then coat in corn flour and fry in hot fat on both sides for gold. Such fried green tomatoes are tasty in themselves, but you can always rub them with a yogurt sauce with dill.
