The senator (-RJ) called the minister of (Supreme Federal Court), terrorist on Tuesday (16) and asked “a truce” from the former president (PL).
“It’s a psychological massacre. I wanted to make an audience request. Even terrorist gives a truce in a war. I’m asking the terrorist to take a break a little. Let the institutions go back to work, let president Bolsonaro recover at least, as he didn’t even have the opportunity to recover after the last surgery,” he said.
Flavio’s statement took place in front of the hospital where his father is hospitalized for exams in Brasilia. The senator asked for a break for his father to recover “mentally” and added that physically he is still “broken” because of the 2018 stab.
According to Flávio, the hiccups of the former president increased and led him to strong vomiting. In one of the episodes, he said, Bolsonaro was about ten seconds unable to breathe and was rescued by his wife, Michelle Bolsonaro.
The senator also defended a “total, broad, unrestricted and immediate amnesty”, but said he wants the National Congress to start voting for a bill on the subject, whatever, so that the plenary decides the scope.
Flávio again minimized the invasion and destruction of the headquarters of the three powers on January 8, 2023, and called the attacks on the depredation of the public property.
He also criticized Supreme Ministers who have already stated that the amnesty in this case would be unconstitutional. The senator mentioned the dean of the court, Gilmar Mendes, saying not knowing what is happening with the minister.
