The man aimed at the cops a firearm, and then there was a gunfight between the two sides.
At least two people lost their lives as a result of shooting, which occurred on Tuesday evening in the Vienna district of Leopoldstadt. This was announced by local police, TASR reports according to APA and DPA reports.
The cops called to a certain apartment for a quarrel that was going there. They discovered a dead 44-year-old woman and two badly injured people: a 24-year-old woman and a 26-year-old man who was taken to the hospital. The injured woman was in a very critical condition, while the condition of a severely injured man was stabilized.
Police shooting and escape of the perpetrator
Before the apartment building before the foundation of the dead and injured, the police observed a suspect of a 44 -year -old man – a supposed offender. The man at the cops pointed a firearm, and then there was a gunfight between the two sides, after which he escaped. Shortly afterwards, however, he was discovered by the dead in his car.
The circumstances of the shooting were not immediately known, and as well as the relationship of the victims and the perpetrator are the subject of investigation. The incident required extensive intervention of police and rescuers, and temporarily closed the surrounding area.
