The president of, (Union-AP), criticized on Wednesday the (-SP) without citing him directly and also the speech adopted by the federal government to counteract Eduardo nos. Speech, given in the Senate Plenary, is another demonstration of alcohubre discontent with political polarization and the pressure to which it is subjected.
“I can’t see, every day – it’s the first time I’m going to talk about it and I’m going to have to talk now every week, so I don’t be absent – a federal deputy from Brazil, elected by the people of Sao Paulo, there in the United States, instigating a country against my country,” said Alcolumbre.
“It is one in the United States, saying that, the resident of the United States of America, will send new sanctions to Brazil, Parliament, the authorities, the judiciary, the executive, and with fare, charging and disrupting Brazil,” said the Senate President.
The reference is Eduardo, son of the former president (PL). The deputy is in the United States seeking reprisals from the US government against Brazil because of his father’s trial ,.
The Senate President also criticized the speech prepared by the federal government to counteract the actions of the United States and try to raise their own popularity through a nationalist appeal.
“How comfortable it is to assault and say that Brazil is from Brazilians,” said Alcolumbe, in reference to that released by government members.
The president of the Senate complained about the criticism made to him by Eduardo Girão (Novo-CE), without quoting the senator. “15 days ago the president of the Senate does not appear to direct the sessions and I have questions about the super impeachment request of,” wrote Girão on his profile at X, former Twitter.
Also on Tuesday, Alcolumbre issued a press release stating that he was in stomach problems and therefore would not attend the Senate.
“I can’t, with all due respect, to accept all these assaults silent. So, I will organize, now, to start answering all the questions, all questions, with a lot of respect, very mature, because if this is right, friend, I don’t know what is right anymore,” said Alcolumbre in the plenary this Wednesday.
Alcolumbre statements were after exchanging criticism between governors and pockets. He also answered the questioning of the opposition leader, (PL-RN).
Marinho had charged the dismissal of writer Eduardo Bueno from the Senate Editorial Board. Known as Peninha, he posted a video celebrating the murder of the American right activist Charlie Kirk and then.
The Senate president said he had instructed the senator (PT-AP), president of the editorial board, to dismiss Bueno. “He has already removed this server, and did not need this presidency to remove him,” said Alcolumbre.
This is the second time in a month that the president of the Senate publicly vent about political polarization. In late August, Alcolumbre said he and the mayor, (-ap) were “crushed” and being threatened to choose one side of polarization.
