OSE made the first team to secure a place in the semifinals of the this Tuesday (23), by defeating Velez Sarsfield, in Buenos Aires, in the return game of the quarterfinals, 1-0, repeating the score of the first duel. Thus, Racing awaits the winner of the clash between Flamengo and Estudiantes, who face each other on Thursday, also in the Argentine capital. In the first duel, in Maracanã, the Rio team won 2-1 and now plays for a draw to secure a place among the four best teams in South America.

How was the game

In the Argentine confrontation, the racing was better for most of the game. In the first half, the team finished 12 times, while Velez did not disturb the goal of cambues. The second half was more disputed and Velez even balanced the dispute. But Racing arrived at the 37th minute win, when Rojas escaped from the left and crossed to Solari to complete inside the small area.
