Ukrainian President Volodymyr Genskyj said on Tuesday at the UN Security Council (UNSC) meeting that he believed that the United States “pushed Russia to peace”. He said so shortly after US President Donald Trump said Ukraine could get all its entire territory from Russia. According to AFP and DPA reports, TASR reports this.
- Trump supports the acquisition of the entire Ukrainian territory from Russia.
- Zelenskyj called NATO to prepare against the Russian drone.
- Greeding drew attention to the potential influence of China on Russia.
“I just met President Trump and we talked about how to finally set peace. We discussed some good ideas and I hope they will work,” said Greeding at the UN Security Council. “I am grateful for this meeting and we expect US steps to push Russia to peace. Moscow is afraid of America and always pays attention to it,” Zelenskyj continued.
Ukraine is supposed to act according to Trump
The Ukrainian President said shortly after negotiations with Trump. The head of the White House after him on the social network Truth Social wrote that Ukraine could get back from Russia all its territory. “I think that Ukraine, with the support of the European Union, is able to fight to regain the whole Ukraine in its original form,” wrote Trump on the social network Truth Social.
In the past, the President of the US showed only the lukewarm support of Greeny, with whom he had a sharp exchange of views in an oval office in February, stating that Ukraine has “had no cards” for victory. In Tuesday’s contribution, however, Trump described Russia as a “paper tiger”, saying that “Putin and Russia are in great economic difficulties and this is the time for Ukraine to act”.
Russia is looking for weaknesses
Greens at the UNSC meeting also said that Russia is disturbing the airspace of NATO countries to explore the air defense of the Alliance and look for weaknesses. “He will try to find weaknesses in Europe, in NATO countries, it will try to do so. He uses different types of long -range drones to understand how Europe is ready,” said Greeding.
In addition, the Ukrainian president said that China could also put pressure on Russia. “China is also represented here, a powerful nation on which Russia is now completely dependent. If China actually wanted to stop this war, it would force Moscow to end the invasion. Without China, Putin’s Russia would be nothing.
