Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told the family of Alon Ohel, a hostage still kept in Gaza, that there is a combined military effort that is continually persecuted to defeat Hamas and bring back all hostages, his office said in a statement on Wednesday.
Kobi Ohel, hostage’s father, said in a statement that he and his wife expect Netanyahu to return from his trip to the United States with “news that all the people of Israel are waiting.”
Netanyahu is expected to speak at the United Nations General Assembly in New York on Friday during a trip to the US when he should also meet with US President Donald Trump to discuss the release of hostages.
