The arrival of autumn does not mean abdicating leisure moments in the water. In the municipality of Lagoa, in the Algarve, an inner municipal pool was inaugurated that, in addition to offering swimming conditions, also provides jacuzzi and water aerobics programs, with accessible entries from 1.50 euros.
According to the NIT Portal, the new Mexilhoeira municipal pool of the load opened doors on September 15, after an investment of 147 thousand euros. The infrastructure was installed in a building that belonged to the former Hotel Boca do Rio, ended several years ago and in the meantime acquired by the municipality.
A new space for all ages
According to the same source, the tank is 17 meters long by 12 wide, with variable depth between 80 centimeters and 1.30 meters. The space is designed to welcome different activities, from swimming learning to hydrotherapy sessions.
It adds that the value of the inputs varies according to age. Children between six and 11 years old and over 65 pay 1.50 euros for one hour of free use. Young people from 12 to 17 pay two euros and adults three euros. There are also packages of various modalities, such as swimming, water aerobics and hydrotherapy, with prices adjusted to the number of weekly sessions.
Infrastructure with view of the Arade River
