After a heat wave, strong storms hit the Czech Republic on Tuesday evening. Lightning struck a children’s camp near the town of Jindřichův Hradec. They had to hospitalize one middle-aged man, who briefly fell unconscious after the attack, as well as five children. TASR informs about it according to the portal Novinky.cz.

In the evening, strong storms hit mainly the south of Moravia, where five-centimeter hailstones were reported in the vicinity of Blansko. Firefighters also had to intervene, removing fallen trees and pumping out water.
