Rescue Action in Malá Fatra: HZS intervened in weakness and exhaustion of two older tourists

Mountain rescuers helped on Saturday (27 September) in Malá Fatra 87-year-old tourist of German nationality. The man on the red hiking trail between Strathenec and the saddle Vratna suddenly felt weakness and exhaustion. This was reported by the Mountain Rescue Service (HZS) on its website.

“Rescuers from the Regional Center of the HZS Malá Fatra tourist examined after arrival. After improving the state of health at his own request, he remained in the care of a family member, ” she said HZS.

The rescuers on Saturday in Malá Fatra was also needed by a 76-year-old Czech, who felt nausea and weakness at the cottage under Bread. Accompanied by a girlfriend, he descended to the safety of the cottage, where he waited for the arrival of the rescuers. “Mountain rescuers investigated the patient, provided him with urgent medical care and then transported it in a stabilized state of health to Vrátna. From there he continued to the accommodation facility at his own request,” HZS added.
