Pine Cliffs, A Luxury Collection Resort, in Albufeira, has once again been recognized internationally, this time with four distinctions at the Luxe Global Awards 2025: Best Luxury Resort, Best Luxury Beachfront Resort, Best Luxury Family Resort and Best Luxury 5 Star Resort.
In a statement, the resort highlights that “these awards reinforce its positioning as one of the most emblematic resorts in Europe”.
The Luxe Global Awards are considered “a global reference in the hospitality sector” and recognize excellence in luxury services in various areas, “from hotels and resorts to spas and restaurants, evaluating criteria such as quality, innovation, customer experience and commitment to excellent hospitality”, says the hotel unit.
He also highlights that “these four distinctions add to a history of awards that the resort has won over the years”. The latest distinctions were awarded in 2024, “when the resort was recognized in several categories, including Best Luxury 5 Star Resort and Best Luxury Family Resort”.
Pine Cliffs Resort is owned by United Investments Portugal (UIP), part of the Al-Bahar Investment Group consortium, based in Dubai. The Pine Cliffs Hotel, Pine Cliffs Ocean Suites & Spa and Pine Cliffs Residence within the Pine Cliffs Resort are managed by Marriott International, under the brand The Luxury Collection.
It is one of the most awarded luxury resorts in Europe and has been distinguished several times since opening in 1992. The Resort has appeared twice on Condé Nast Traveller’s ‘Gold List’ and has received the award for “Best Resort for Families in Portugal” six times.
In 2024 it was considered the “Best Luxury Resort” in Europe, the “Best Luxury Resort with Sea View” and “Best Luxury Resort for Families” in Portugal at the World Luxury Hotel Awards. Also this year we were awarded by the Luxe Global Awards in the following categories: “Best 5-Star Resort” and “Best Luxury Resort for Families”.
