A was called up this Thursday (9) for the important friendlies against and , marking the penultimate FIFA Date of the year. The list of 23 athletes was released by the coach in an event broadcast live on CBF TV, at the new office of the Brazilian Football Confederation in Miami.
The call-in press conference was attended by Arthur Elias and Bruno Costa, director of the CBF international office. During the broadcast, the coach of the U20 Women’s Team, Camilla Orlando, also announced the names for two of the team’s friendlies against Mexico, directly from São Paulo, alongside the coordinator of the Women’s Teams, Cris Gambaré.
The clashes, considered high-level, are crucial in Amarelinha’s preparation for the 2027 World Cup. The first challenge will be against England on October 25th, at 1:30 pm (Brasília time), at the Etihad Stadium, in Manchester. The friendly will bring together the current champions of the Copa América and the European Championship. Next, the Brazilian team will face Italy on October 28th, at 1:15 pm (Brasília time), at the Ennio Tardini Stadium, in Parma. The Italians were semi-finalists in the last edition of the Women’s Euro Cup.
