Vienna/Washington – As of the beginning of October, 26 scientists from the USA have moved to an Austrian university as part of recruitment programs. In addition, there are 56 specific applications and an additional pool of interested parties in different phases – from initial contacts to ongoing admission processes. Science Minister Eva-Maria Holzleitner (SPÖ) and the University Conference (uniko) drew this conclusion on Sunday.
