Public authorities cut advertising from 197 to 177 million


Public bodies from federal and state governments and municipalities to publicly owned companies spent 177 million euros on advertising bookings and other communication activities in the first half of the year. That is around 20 million euros less than in the first half of the previous year – 196.5 million were reported back then. The federal government has more than halved its advertising bookings from 18.7 to 7.4 million euros.
