Three British neo-Nazi extremists who were united by their hatred of people other than white peoplewere sentenced on Friday to prison terms of eight to 11 years for planning attacks on ethnic and religious minorities. TASR informs about it according to the report of the AFP agency.
Christopher Ringrose (35), Marco Pitzettu (25) and Brogan Stewart (25) were in early 2025 found guilty of preparing terrorist acts. They also condemned them for gathering information that could be useful for a person preparing or committing a terrorist actwhile Ringrose was found guilty from the production of a prohibited weapon.
Judge Johannah Cutts delivering the sentence said the convicts had acquired “a number of weapons including crossbows, swords and knives” which they planned to use in the attacks. Ringrose also 3D printed most of the components of the semi-automatic firearm.
Cutts sent Stewart behind bars for 11 yearsRingrosea na ten years in Pizzetta na eight years. The trio have been making their plans online and are not believed to would meet in person before the start of the trial at a court in Sheffield, central England.
The men planned to attack an Islamic education center in Leeds, northern England, however, they were arrested by the anti-terrorist police. A jury in May rejected their claims that they did not intend to carry out their plans.
Cuttsová pointed out that nthe trio’s neo-Nazi ideology was “revealed” by a 374-page document on Internet activities that was given to the jury. As she further noted, the defendants shared “ideas of white supremacy and racial purity along with the belief that a race war would soon occur.” They admired the policies and actions of Nazi leader Adolf Hitler and the Nazi party NSDAP and mass murderers who targeted black or Muslim communities.
