“A character like that at 62 [anos]right? Look how beautiful, life always surprises”, said the artist, celebrating the role. Debora also reflected that people like villains in soap operas: “I think there is a fetish among the public. I don’t know… It causes some catharsis in people. As it is in fiction, you can identify with the evil.”
Although she loved playing Odete Roitman in 2025, the actress stated that she does not agree with her attitudes. “I don’t give a damn about Odete Roitman. I think she’s a horrible human being, right?! An authoritarian woman, a narcissistic woman who thinks she buys everything with money. Fascinated by power, and she’s classist, she’s prejudiced, she’s racist… So I think that’s not what people love.”
The artist also revealed that, after working so hard, even though it’s good, she deserves a rest. “It’s from Sunday to Sunday, there’s no day off because on the day off you memorize, you’ll read the chapters, separate your scenes, study your scenes, memorize the whole week’s text. And I recorded from Monday to Saturday”, he revealed.
