The councilor (PL), president of the São Paulo City Council, filed this Tuesday (21) a request to invite the state secretary of Public Security, to speak about investigations into adulterated drinks.
Zoe also wants to invite the municipal secretary of Public Security, , to provide clarification on the situation in São Paulo.
According to data from the Ministry of Health released this Monday (20), there are 47 in the country. —and 578 notifications have already been discarded.
The parliamentarian says that the objective of inviting the secretaries is for both to report and present data regarding cases of methanol poisoning in the city.
The councilor also filed a request to summon the Health Surveillance coordinator of the city of São Paulo, Mariana de Souza Araújo, and an invitation to Manuel Bernardes de Lara Jr., health authority at the Health Surveillance Center of the State of São Paulo, to also speak on the topic.
The board was installed this Tuesday (20) and will have Ely Teruel (MDB) as vice-president. The rapporteur will be in charge of councilor Sandra Santana (MDB).
