It was precisely a year ago that the country woke up to the sad news of Marco Paulo’s death, aged 79, victim of liver cancer.
Thus, this Friday, October 24th, many fans and friends have been paying homage and remembering the artist on social media, one of them Eduardo Ferreira.
The firefighter from Braga and one of the heirs to Marco Paulo’s inheritance published an old video in which he appears, together with his colleagues, singing the theme ‘Na Hora do Adeus’ and in the caption ‘he opened his heart’: “Heaven is celebrating today ❤️”started by writing.
Grateful for “everything”, Eduardo Ferreira revealed how he has lived this past year, highlighting the ‘legacy’ that Marco Paulo left in everyone he met.
“Today marks a year since my dear Marco Paulo passed away, and the longing remains alive in every memory, in every gesture, in every silence. Time has passed, but the absence still weighs heavily, and the heart still misses the smile, the words and the presence that brightened the days. Death may have taken the body, but it will never take what you were, an example of kindness, friendship and affection 🙏❤️💔”but
