Venezuela began, on Thursday (23), a military deployment across the country as part of the “Coast Independence 200” exercises, which aim to defend sovereignty and internal stability amid growing regional tensions.
The exercises, which cover the coastal states of La Guaira, Miranda, Anzoátegui, Falcón, Nueva Esparta, Carabobo, Sucre and Zulia, were launched under the supervision of Defense Minister Vladimir Padrino López, who also holds the position of Vice President of Defense and Sovereignty.
During the mobilization, Padrino warned about alleged secret operations conducted by the United States Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and stated that any attempt to destabilize Venezuela “will fail”.
