Washington – California Governor Gavin Newsom is considering running in the 2028 US presidential election. He will make a final decision after the midterm elections in November 2026, the Democrat said in an interview broadcast on CBS on Sunday. When asked if he was considering running, Newsom said, “Yes, anything else would be a lie.”
