North American President Donald Trump reiterated that he would love to meet the leader of North Korea, Kim Jong-un, during his trip to the Asian continent this week.
“I would love to meet him, if he [Kim Jong-un] want”, said Donald Trump, in statements to journalists, aboard the US presidential plane (Air Force One) and which were released today by the US presidential office.
Donald Trump admitted extending his trip to Asia to meet with the leader of North Korea.
The North American head of state was in Malaysia on Sunday, visits Japan today and Tuesday and then travels to South Korea on Wednesday and Thursday.
In South Korea, Trump will participate in the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit where he is expected to meet with his South Korean and Chinese counterparts, among other heads of state.
So far, the Pyongyang regime has not commented on the statements made by the President of the United States.
