Heat pumps are increasingly replacing various types of boilers in Polish homes. However, many people still believe that such modern devices are only suitable for new buildings. This is a completely false belief, because the main purpose of heat pumps is to effectively heat (or additionally cool) all buildings – new and old, even historic, with different energy standards, equipment and user requirements. That’s why we have such a wide range of heat pumps on the market. The recipe for success is, above all, the proper selection of the device to the needs of our home and professional installation.
It’s worth it!
“After two heating seasons, I can confidently say that the heat pump is one of the best decisions we made when renovating the house. The comfort is incomparable – the house is always warm, and the heating bills have dropped by more than half. We don’t have to do practically anything with it, and thanks to the application I can control everything from my phone. Additionally, we feel that we are doing something good for the environment and the surroundings in which we live.” – says Mrs. Teresa, a heat pump user from Świnoujście.
In older and new homes
The opinions of users themselves prove that heat pumps work great in various homes. A study by SW Research (an agency that also prepares political polls) shows that 81 percent Residents of houses with insulated walls are satisfied with heating with a heat pump. In older, uninsulated houses, the level of satisfaction is also high and reaches 63%.
It’s a profitable investment. If the heat pump and its installation are properly selected, the investment will pay off in just a few years thanks to a permanent reduction in heating bills. A heat pump is much more effective than all boilers, generating 3 to 5 times more heat from each unit of electricity taken from the network. If photovoltaics and energy storage are added, the home’s energy self-sufficiency will increase and heat will be even cheaper.
For your comfort, health and wallet
The heat pump will also ensure high comfort and safety of use – it will automatically adjust its operation to current needs, allowing us full control and convenient control of the heating system, e.g. via an application on the phone. It will not emit pollutants harmful to health and the environment, responsible for smog and many serious diseases. Many models can also be used to cool rooms in the summer. This is undoubtedly a future-proof investment that makes our house increase in value.
This is appreciated by the vast majority of heat pump users in Poland, as many as 80%. all respondents are satisfied with this form of heating – according to the previously mentioned SW Research analyses. An even better result was obtained in a study by the Institute of Environmental Economics – 85%. owners of heat pumps decided that it was the best source of heating for their home. For comparison: among users of gas boilers, approximately 60 percent declare satisfaction, and those of pellet boilers – approximately 70 percent.
