The Minister of Development, Industry, Commerce and Services and vice-president, criticized this Monday (27) the governor of São Paulo, for their attitudes in the midst of imposed by the United States on Brazil. In an interview with the ICL Notícias portal, the acting President of the Republic stated that the State of São Paulo is the most affected by taxation on Brazilian products, since it is from there that a large part of the high added value products exported to Brazil come from.
“I regret the stance of the governor of São Paulo Tarcísio de Freitas. Firstly because the State is one of the main ones affected by the tariffs. It is not possible to applaud the President of the USA at a time like this. It is where the industry is most strongly affected by the tariffs”, he declared.
