President of the Vladimir Herzog Institute, organizer of the event, Rogerio Sottili, says that there was no deliberate intention to omit the phrase and attributed the fact to chance.
The Panel asked the Archdiocese of São Paulo, to which the cathedral is linked, if it had requested the removal of the section with the word “brothel”, but the organization said it had no information about the reason for the omission.
