Song has the word ‘brothel’ suppressed in action by Herzog – 10/27/2025 – Panel

An informal amnesty anthem, the song “O Bêbado e o Equilibrista” had a section that mentions the word “brothel” omitted when it was sung during the act at the Sé cathedral, in the center of São Paulo, last Saturday (25).

The Panel asked the Archdiocese of São Paulo, to which the cathedral is linked, if it had requested the removal of the section with the word “brothel”, but the organization said it had no information about the reason for the omission.
