Caio Castro suffers car accident during motorsport training in Paraná

The 36-year-old actor suffered an accident this Thursday (10/30) during free training for the traditional Cascavel de Ouro race, in Paraná. The information was published by the artist’s girlfriend, who shared videos showing details of the crash involving her partner.

According to her, the heartthrob It’s going well and the episode was nothing more than a scare. He reportedly lost control of the vehicle on a curve, left the road and collided with the tire barrier. The accident left the front of the vehicle completely damaged. Despite the material damage, Caio has already been released after being examined, as his team informed Quem.

In a statement, the team explained that the causes are still being analyzed. “We believe it was an oil stain or the calibration of the tires which, when very hot, have less grip. In the curve called Bacião, the car skidded, leading straight to the tire barrier […] He was just the impact on the shoulder and arm, nothing serious“, he reported.

Known for his participation in TV and cinema, the actor works as a driver in different types of motorsport. On his social networks, he usually shows behind the scenes of the races and preparation in the area. This is his second participation in the Cascavel de Ouro, which brings together 100 drivers and 50 cars in a 3-hour race.

Consecutive accident

It was not the first time that the pilot was involved in a car accident. A year ago, Caio Castro was involved in a similar mishap to what happened this Thursday (11/30). In November 2024, the actor crashed his car, due to an oil leak, in which he reported the result without scratches: “Even without finishing the race, we made a great debut; we started from P32, to P7… Next year, there will be more!”, concluded Caio.

In addition to this occasion, he seriously crashed into a tire barrier on the track at the Autódromo Internacional de Tarumã, during the Copa Truck held in October 2023 in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul.
