A dinner at an all-you-can-eat buffet restaurant in Sweden ended in controversy after a customer was reprimanded by the owner of the establishment for allegedly eating more than was considered acceptable. According to the Swedish news portal Nyheter24, the incident occurred in the middle of this month, when Marcus Vadeby, 27, went with his partner and a friend to the Commat restaurant, in Sweden, to enjoy the all-you-can-eat buffet. The menu price was 129 SEK, around 12 euros and included homemade dishes, a salad buffet and a drink. Among the options of the day were “pannbiff”, a traditional dish of meatballs with puree.

Marcus, who measures 1.95 meters and weighs 140 kilos, admits that he ate more than average, but guarantees that he did not waste any food.
Owner accuses customer of having eaten “too much”
After the visit, Marcus posted a negative review on the restaurant’s Facebook page. Shortly afterwards, he received a call from the owner, who reprimanded him for “eating too much” and stated that customers like him were not profitable, referring above all to the meatballs.
The restaurant, contacted by the Swedish media, responded via its Facebook page, clarifying that the intention was only to avoid wasting food. He added that the conversation could have been interpreted negatively and made a public apology.
Didn’t receive any private apology
