Two fishermen rescued from fishing vessel that capsized on Cascais beach

The alert for the accident was given at 07:46, with 14 operational personnel at the scene at 08:50, with the support of five resources.

Two fishermen were rescued this Friday after the boat they were traveling in capsized on Avencas beach, in Parede, in the municipality of Cascais, a source from the Greater Lisbon Sub-Regional Command told Lusa.

“The boat capsized and the fishermen were left clinging to the vessel. One of them was rescued by surfers and the second by a jet ski”, said the same source, unaware of the health status of the two men.
