Vienna – Austria’s handball men lost on team boss Iker Romero’s debut. At the end of the 100th anniversary celebrations of the Austrian Handball Association, the ÖHB selection lost to Hungary 27:31 (13:16) in a friendly international match. The Austrians delivered an open exchange of blows with their neighbors in the new Sport Arena Vienna, which was officially opened at the beginning of September, but the successful comeback failed due to many penalties.
