Just a few semi-finished products – ready-made puff pastry and powdered puddingto conjure up something delicious in half an hour. A dessert scented with vanilla and coconut It tastes best on a lazy Sunday, when you feel like having something sweet with your coffee. Pudding Delicacy is really easy to prepare – practically everything happens in the oven, and you only need to prepare the pudding. This simple sweet looks just like a cake brought straight from a confectionery shop.

Ingredients:

  • 2 sheets of puff pastry.

Cream:

  • 1 liter of milk,
  • 2 packages of vanilla pudding,
  • 100 g sugar,
  • 200 g of butter.

Decoration:

  • 3 tablespoons of coconut flakes,
  • 3 tablespoons of powdered sugar,
  • 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract.

Preparation method:

Unfold the puff pastry and prick it thickly with a fork. Cut each sheet into two parts and put in an oven preheated to 200 degrees Celsius. Bake the tops for 15-20 minutesuntil the dough is golden and crispy.

After baking, place the cake layers to cool. Pick up any crumbs and leftovers and place them in a separate bowl.

Prepare the cream. Pour out half a glass of milk, pour the rest into a pot and add sugar. Mix the custard powder in half a glass of milk. When the milk in the pot heats up, add the mixture from the glass and stir vigorously with a whisk until it thickens and boils. Remove the pot from the heat and cover the pudding with food foil so that it touches the surface of the pudding (so-called foil in contact). Set aside to cool completely. Beat the soft butter with a mixer until light and fluffy. Add the pudding a spoonful at a time, mixing until you obtain a uniform cream.

Prepare the decoration. Mix the leftover puff pastry with coconut flakes and powdered sugar. Add vanilla extract and mix everything with your hand until you obtain a consistency resembling dry crumble.

Assemble the dough. Cover each cake layer with a layer of custard cream. Brush the top as well. Finally, sprinkle the Pudding Treat with sprinkles.

Put the dessert in the fridge for at least 2-3 hours. Serve cold.
