Firefighters responded to a fire at a business in Košice: They rescued two people

Firefighters intervened early on Tuesday morning at a fire at a business on the street of Protifašistických vojářov in Košice. Firefighters treated two people, one of them inhaled the fumes of the fire. The Regional Directorate of the Fire and Rescue Service (KR HaZZ) in Košice informs about it on the social network.

“Employees were outside the building when firefighters arrived. The fire was extinguished using 100 liters of water and a portable powder fire extinguisher,” reports KR HaZZ, stating that 11 firefighters with three fire trucks intervened on the scene.

The fire broke out as a result of an operational-technical malfunction of the dryer. They estimated the preliminary damage at 5,000 euros.
