Factory in Braga announced lay-off until April, because of the crisis in the supply of semiconductors. Chinese are not satisfied.
The factory Bosch in Braga announced a significant cut: after the dismissal of 600 workers over the last year, it entered into lay-off this week.

Nexperia is a semiconductor company based in the Netherlands, but with Chinese ownership, from the Wingtech group.
But Wingtech was confiscated by the Dutch government, which alleged “serious deficiencies” in the group’s management; and so the Dutch Ministry of Finance took control of Nexperia’s operations.
The Government applied the so-called Asset Availability Law because, according to the Minister of Economy, “a threat to the continuity and safeguarding of crucial know-how and technological capabilities in the Netherlands and Europe”.
Thus, the Dutch are trying to guarantee the supply of essential chips for the automotive and consumer electronics industries.
Consequence: the Beijing Government suspended exports of Nexperia chips (70% are made in China) and stops of production all over the world.
Indications have emerged that China could flex the ban on the export of semiconductors. In the name of the security and stability of global supply chains. And Bosch – and not only – would be relieved.
But the agency changes the scenario again: the Government of China “devastated” the Government of the Netherlandsthis Tuesday.
“Stop interfering in Nexperia’s internal affairs. The Dutch side persists in its unilateral conduct without taking concrete measures to resolve the issue, which inevitably will aggravate the negative impact on the global semiconductor supply chain”, indicated the Ministry of Commerce in a statement.
But a spokesman for the Dutch Economy Ministry told Reuters that negotiations between the two governments still take place.
