Ten-time biathlon world champion Julia Simon has been banned for six months, five of them on probation, by the disciplinary committee of the French Ski Federation (FFS) because of the credit card affair. As the FFS announced in a press release, the ban will come into force on November 7th. This means that Simon, who is one of France’s biggest medal hopes, can take part in the 2026 Winter Olympics (February 6th to 22nd).
