But the subject that caught the most attention was the look chosen for the big day. Famous for her exuberant style, Sylvia said she spared no expense to shine as mother of the groom. “I chose Israel Valentim to make my dress, I didn’t save on my dress, we didn’t save on the bride’s dress. This moment isn’t about money, it’s emotion, it’s memories, these are memories that last for the rest of your life”, he declared.

With a confident smile, the businesswoman also revealed the value of the piece: “I can’t say the price, but this cost almost 100 thousand”, she said, showing the dress full of embroidery and luxurious details. Sylvia also joked about the “fashion censorship” she suffered before the ceremony: “You must be thinking that Sylvia is too covered up, right? It’s not my choice! If I didn’t come covered up, I’d sit on the stool and not go in with my son”, she said with a laugh, revealing that stylist Junior Donato was the one who convinced her to opt for a more well-behaved model.

Even with the luxury, Sylvia made a point of emphasizing that the most important thing was the emotion and love that surrounded the event. “We chose the best house in São Paulo to hold the party. At this moment, it’s not money that rules. It’s good taste, affection, love and respect”, he stated.

Asked who paid for the ceremony, Sylvia explained that there was a fair division between the families. “The mother also had her collaboration. We reached an agreement, we each participated. But of course the groom took on most of it”, he said. And, according to her, everything has already been paid off: “The worst thing is that you’ve had to pay off everything. You’re getting married now!”, she revealed with good humor.

Living a happy phase in her personal life as well, Sylvia and her boyfriend, Charles Douglas, briefly commented on their relationship. “We have a very good intensity, respect, a very good affection. Only God knows all things, right?”, he said, with a passionate smile.
